The Certsure Accredited Heat Pump programme is targeted at existing engineering operatives who require to develop their skills for the installation of heat pump technology. 

This three-day training course is designed for experienced heating installers who wish to future-proof and expand their skill set to include the installation and maintenance of ASHPs in domestic and small commercial settings.

Our centres are equipped with multiple Air Source Heat Units provided by a range of manufacturers that allow for hands on practical experience. 

We will cover a range of practical and theory based scenarios, covering the core skills needed to install and maintain ASHP units.

At the end of the three days candidates will participate in a practical, observed and multiple choice based theory assessment.

Pre-requisites:

• Heating Engineers with a minimum of 2 years experience installing wet central heating systems (Gas Safe, OFTEC, MCS or HETAS Registered).
• N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
• N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Domestic Installation) or equivalent.
• N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Industrial and Commercial Installation) or equivalent.
• N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Oil-Fired Technical Services or equivalent.
• N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent.

In addition to the above, if not included in the prerequisite qualification, or taken as part of this programme, learners shall also hold Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems in dwellings if designers, Water Regs UK Regulations/Water Byelaws or equivalent and Unvented Hot Water Systems (G3)
