Our one day Certsure accredited course covers the installation and maintenance of domestic unvented hot water storage systems.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

Understand the legislation & building regulations for unvented installations.

• List the safety requirements of unvented installations.
• Name the controls & their correct operation.
• State how to correctly size & install discharge pipework.
• Commission & safety check an unvented installation including completion of benchmark form.
• Diagnose & repair common faults.

Pre-requisites

Appropriate NVQ Level 3 or BTEC or equivalent.

Appropriate industry registration scheme, for example, Gas Safe Register, ACS,OFTEC 105E or equivalent. 

At least two years industry experience of installation of domestic heating and hot water systems currently un-certificated skills equivalent to NVQ level 3 supported by witness testimony from an appropriate responsible person.

At least two years industry experience of design and advice services of domestic heating and hot water systems to NVQ level 3 or equivalent supported by witness testimony from an appropriate responsible person.
